Jia Curated 04
Event Overview
Jia CURATED is an immersive weekend of craft, design, and culture.
The fourth edition is scheduled to return in August 2025.
This year, Jia Curated thinks about how Evolving Perspectives shapes the ever-changing nature of creativity. As the foundation for our curatorial vision, initiatives, and collaborations, this theme invites open interpretation—exploring curiosity, resilience, and adaptability while foregrounding balanced representation, inclusivity, and diverse voices within the creative community.
Evolving Perspectives is an ongoing dialogue—a process of continuous discovery that redefines how we engage with creativity. It acknowledges that artistic expression does not exist in a vacuum but is shaped by shifting contexts, new influences, and an openness to transformation. Through this lens, we examine how creative individuals navigate change, reinterpret tradition, and push the boundaries of possibility.

As our brand turn towards storytelling, we present Biblioteca—a container for the narratives and creative process that shape our designs.
The exhibition features subtle silhouettes to invoke curiosity—an invitation for the audience to enter. As Suaru introduces a new brand identity, featured pieces include a select few of our most recognisable classics to instil a sense of familiarity, and a curated preview of our planned additions to the collection this year.

Complete with ‘markers’.
The exhibition layout mimics an aisle in a library with products arranged in a row, left and right—made to showcase a collection of story-driven products. This year, we present a new sofa system inspired by tree branches, a dining collection shaped by roman architecture, and a storage unit derived from Hong Kong’s iconic use of bamboo scaffolding, among many others.
The pieces are full of narratives, and yet are presented as usable, everyday objects. It’s a context that is familiar to most—further highlighting our goal of creating pieces that are silent, effortless, and harmonises well with its environment.

Designed in collaboration with Kata Design, the structure of the booth is collection of elements, stories, and experiences shaped as a unified whole. Metal and wood used in tandem to express both contrast and harmony; metal embodying strength and rigidity, while wood brings warmth and intimacy. Instead of fusing them into a singular form, the two elements are arranged like individual fragments of a story, each standing on its own, yet complementing one another.
