The Hairu barstools are based on the shape of the Chinese logographic character [rù], meaning ‘to enter’.

Framing the rattan cane detailing, its distinctive side profile loops around the back to form a supportive, enveloping backrest—inviting its users to, well… enter.

Best appreciated from a front or rear three-quarter view—but you can sit on it, too.
